About Company : INDEX MEDIA PVT LTD., a group company of the Universal Expositions Group and publisher of India’s premier trade publication INDEX FURNITURE JOURNAL (IFJ) on furniture, lighting, interior accessories and design is looking for editorial staff in Mumbai and in the main metros/class 1 towns. The editorial work would cover the following industry groups of relevance : furniture, lighting, lifestyle and accessories, hardware, construction, woodworking, and ply, laminates and timber.
Experience: 0 – 5 Years
Job Location: Bengaluru/Bangalore, Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Mumbai Suburbs
Desired :
* Bachelors degree or above, and a capacity to manage information and interface with members of the trade and professionals such as architects and project managers.
* Sound knowledge of the English language and one or more regional languages and adequate writing skills.
* Must have thorough awareness on areas relevant to the publications such as commercial construction, opening of showrooms, and general industry related happenings.
Job Description :
Interface with the trade and liaison on matters pertaining to the market and trade. Provision of information on areas relevant to the publications (as stated above) , conducting of interviews or procurement of information relevant to the industry as and when required.
